Battle Arena (BA Rules)

Chaos Magician Academy BA Rules

Here are the rules for Battle Arena duels.
A battle arena is where you earn DP by duelling against other members of the academy. All you need to do is ask someone to Battle Arena duel you. If they accept the duel them in Match mode. The winner of the Match will post the result earning them the DP.

The duel should be a match duel supporting the following rules:

Forbidden List: The most recent Forbidden List must be used
Allowed Cards: TCG/OCG
Time Limit: 180
“Enable Priority” must be off
“Don’t check deck” must be off
“Do not shuffle deck” must be off
Starting LP: 8000
Starting Hand: 5
Cards per Draw: 1

The winner of the duel should post the reply of the duels that he/she won, these replays must have been uploaded using Sendspace or Mediafire or such. BA wins must be Posted in the BA section and please restrict yourself from posting in other members BA results. After the posting, the loser MUST confirm the BA lose by replying that he/she lose.

Once you and your opponent have made the posts a Moderator will Award you and Lock the topic. Winning a BA counts as a win towards your BA record. Winners are awarded 30 DP and losing a BA counts as a lose towards your BA record and will be awarded.

The following type of decks are banned in BAs:

Code:

FTK Decks.
Burn/Stall Decks.
Final Countdown.
Exodia Deck
Destiny Board deck

You have to wait for 2 days before you can play against the same opponent again. If your opponent didn't confirm then in 3 days, a moderator or an admin will watch the replays and award the winner and also a verbal warning will be given to the opponent unless he/she has a valid reason

Tag BA Rules

Tag BAs are a 2 on 2 game with 16000 LP. here are the following rules for a Tag BA:

Time Limit: 180
“Enable Priority” must be off
“Don’t check deck” must be off
“Do not shuffle deck” must be off
Starting LP: 16000
Starting Hand: 5
Cards per Draw: 1

One of the winners of the duel MUST post the reply of the duel that he/she won along with the name of your tag partner and your two opponents. After the posting, the losers confirms the BA. all 4 players who played must confirm or the duel will not be validated.

The winners are awarded 40 DP, 1 win toward their BA record. Losing a tag BA counts as a lose towards your BA record.

The following type of decks are forbidden to use:

Destiny Board deck
